Even though we got these planted late this year, it still looks like there might be a harvest. After wanting to grow our own luffas for years now, it finally looks like we are going to accomplish it. A big thanks to @em3 for the seeds.

No, we are not starting to compost our chickens! We just figured that they could help us stir things up and get a free meal in the process. We like to put the animals to work whenever we can, and this was one of those situations.

Since I'm building some little buildings for our smaller livestock and poultry, I've been also making doors for them. This is a simple way I've been building custom doors to fit, in place. It is an easy enough method for me to use, and has been 100% successful thus far.

A common belief out there is that the world is overpopulated. In a time where not having children is often portrayed as the "responsible" thing to do, why would I father "so many" children. In this video I talk about the development of my current understanding on this issue, and why I choose to allow for the possibility of more children in my family.
